
Rain and Dragons Stop Captains 4-1

Lake County Captains News Release
(Eastlake, OH)- A couple thunderous swings from Dayton and then some rain slowed Lake County on Sunday night as the Captains fell 4-1 in a shortened ball game. Jaren Matthews and Ronald Torreyes hit solo homeruns for the Dragons.
Lake County cut the lead in half at 2-1 in the fifth inning, when Aaron Fields doubled in Ronny Rodriguez from first.
Dayton scored a pair of runs in the top of seventh inning, to increase the lead to 4-1.
Tanner Robles (4-8) picked up the win going six innings allowing a run on just one hit, walking two and striking out three. Jordan Cooper (2-5) another tough loss going a career high seven innings allowing four runs on seven hits, no walks and three strike outs.
Lake County and Dayton will continue the four game set on Monday night at 7PM and Cleveland Indians outfield Shin-Soo Choo will be making a rehab appearance.
