
RailCats, Captains Postponed

GARY, Ind. - The Gary SouthShore RailCats and Shreveport-Bossier Captains game, originally scheduled for 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, August 14 with a special 1:10 p.m. start time.
The two clubs will continue their six-game series Sunday afternoon with a doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 1:10 p.m. and will feature two seven-inning contests. All tickets from tonight's regularly scheduled contest will be honored at any upcoming 2011 regular season game, subject to availability.
Sunday is Ginger Appreciation Day at U. S. Steel Yard with a special free freckle giveaway to every fan entering the ballpark. Kids will still be invited to run the bases after the completion of Game Two and as always find the Times Family Sunday Coupon in the Times to get four box seat tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for just $36.
