
Quick Change and Hockey Stick & Puck Giveaway highlight big weekend

Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, the hottest team in the ECHL going 16-4-1 in their last 21 games and having moved into third position in the Pacific Division, host three big games this week on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night all on the Mercy & Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m. all three nights.
Wednesday vs. Victoria - Blood Drive Night:
On Wednesday, everyone that donated blood at either Houchin Blood Bank location during the month of March received a voucher for $1 admission to watch the Condors take on the Victoria Salmon Kings, courtesy of 107.9 KUZZ.
Friday vs. Victoria - Quick Change:
Fans are in for a treat Friday night as the magical duo known as Quick Change makes their first visit to Condorstown. Brought to you by KERN 1180 AM and Digital Designs,Quick Change, a season-one finalist on America's Got Talent, will perform their amazingly quick clothes changing act during the first intermission.
Saturday vs. Las Vegas - Hockey Stick and Puck Set Giveaway:
On Saturday, the first 2,000 fans, 12-and-under, will receive a Dave Bonk street hockey stick and puck set that they can actually play with. Kids can practice their wristers and slapshots in the driveway or anywhere else their mom will let them with this set of two hockey sticks and a puck.
Following the game on Saturday, there will be a Meet The Team Party for all season ticket holders. Season ticket holders are invited to the Flashco Boardroom, located behind section 116, to meet and mingle with the Condors players. Saturday night is also the Season Ticket Holder Referral Night, season ticket holders can bring friends to the game using the referral vouchers they received in their season ticket packets for lower level seating while available.
Game Contests, Promotions & Fun:
During the first intermission of Wednesday's game, the Condors will present the Kern County Shrine Club with a check for $16,746, the amount raised at the 9th Annual Tip-A-Condor Dinner. Afterwards, one lucky fan will get to compete on the ice in the California Pizza Kitchen Pizza Punchout, by taking five shots to knock down pizza boxes and win CPK gift cards.
During the second intermission Wednesday night, one lucky fan will be able to Shoot the Puck, Win the Truck, for the Condors one-of-a-kind 2008 Chevy Silverado, complete with Condors customizations, courtesy of 3-Way Chevrolet. If that contestant doesn't win, then one fan will be drawn at random to win the truck if a Condors player nets a hat trick (3 goals) all in the third period. Four times during the Win the Truck contest a Condors player has scored two goals in the third period, coming very close to sending a fan home in a new ride!
On Friday night during the first intermission, David Maas and Dania Kaseeva, better known as Quick Change, will take the ice. During a non-stop, dynamic and superbly choreographed dance exhibition, David and Dania will puzzle the audience with staggering, flashing costume transformations, which will happen in front of your eyes in seconds. Those in attendance will be talking about this act for a long time to come as it has been heralded as the most exciting and magnetic magic and dance act in the world today!
During the second intermission, the Norris Middle School Cheer Team will perform a routine from center ice for all those in attendance to enjoy.
On Saturday, during the first intermission the West High School Cheerleaders will perform a cheer routine from center ice. During the second intermission one lucky fan will shoot to win a jersey, by scoring a goal from center ice. Also during the second intermission, Chuck-A-Puck could reach a season high of $650!
During all three games this week, if the Condors complete a shutout, the fortunate fan that receives the autographed Pappy's Coffee Shop ad in the Nightly Notes will receive free pancakes for a year, at Pappy's!
All three games this week are also Good Neighbor Nights. Fresno Falcons fans with tickets to any of the games that would have taken place in Fresno on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday can exchange their Falcons tickets and receive terrace level admission to the corresponding game in Bakersfield.

Saturday night's game will be televised live on Bright House Networks Ch. 21. All televised games will be available on Bakersfield On Demand Cable Ch. 300, starting the following day.

The Rabobank Arena Box Office will be open Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended hours on game days.
