Lancaster, CA - The Lancaster JetHawks won Thursday's series finale over the Quakes, giving Lancaster three of four in the series with a 10-0 win at The Hangar.

The Quakes finish their seven-game road trip at just 2-5, but return to The Epicenter for the final home stand, just two games out of a playoff spot, behind the struggling Lake Elsinore Storm (65-64), who dropped their fourth straight game in High Desert on Thursday night.

JetHawks' starter David Martinez was brilliant, scattering eight hits in holding the Quakes scoreless over seven innings. Martinez (8-5) struck out six and walked three in earning his third win against the Quakes this year.

Rancho finished the game with a total of eight hits, but couldn't muster many scoring threats, leaving eight men stranded on base, as they were shut out for their league-worst ninth time this year.

Quakes' starter Garrett Gould (4-9) struggled over just 3 2/3 innings, surrendering five runs on six hits, while walking four batters.

Austin Gallagher led the offense, as he put three singles on the board.

The Quakes (63-66) host San Jose on Friday night, opening their final seven-game home stand of the regular season. Angel Sanchez (6-9) will throw in the series-opener, while the Giants will counter with Justin Schumer (6-4), with first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm from The Epicenter.

On Friday night, 1,500 fans will receive a free Dodgertown Rancho Cucamonga Doormat, thanks to Allstar KIA. Gates open at 6:05pm and game time is 7:05pm. Tickets are available by calling (909) 481-5000 or online at rcquakes.com. Go Quakes!
