Lancaster JetHawks Announce 2013 Schedule

LANCASTER, CA - The Lancaster JetHawks have released its 2013 California League schedule and will begin the team's 18th season in the Antelope Valley at home on Thursday, April 4 against the High Desert Mavericks.
The team's 70-game home schedule kicks off with a seven-game home stand featuring the High Desert Mavericks and Lake Elsinore Storm.
2013 is packed full of great promotional dates throughout the season. In addition to Fireworks Spectaculars beginning in late May, the JetHawks will continue to give away several premium promotional items and host numerous theme nights.
The JetHawks will host the Stockton Ports on Mother's Day, May 12 in a special early afternoon game at The Hangar that will feature a Mother's Day Brunch in the BBQ tent.
Military Appreciation Weekend will be held over Memorial Day Weekend from Friday, May 24 to Sunday, May 26.
The JetHawks' Independence Day celebration and fireworks spectacular will take place on Wednesday, July 3 with the Bakersfield Blaze in town for the final game of a three-game series.
Local Heroes Week at The Hangar will begin on Tuesday, July 23. The festivities will start with a three game series against the San Jose Giants and finish with the Guns vs. Hoses Softball Tournament on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.
Aerospace Appreciation Weekend will take place from Friday, August 2 until Sunday, August 4 as the JetHawks welcome the High Desert Mavericks back to Lancaster.
The home schedule concludes with a seven-game home stand in late August. The final regular season game at The Hangar will take palce on Thursday, August 29, 2013 against the Lake Elsinore Storm. The season ends on Labor Day in Rancho Cucamonga.
