Dunedin Blue Jays News Release

DUNEDIN, FL - Your mission, Dunedin Blue Jays fans, is to join us on Saturday, May 24th for Superhero Night with the D-Jays. Assemble with Iron Man and all your favorite heroes and dress up like your favorite crime fighter from the comic books and big screen.

Thanks to Storm from the X-Men, some wet weather earlier this month has turned Superhero Night into a supersized event, a doubleheader battle against Lakeland starting at 6 p.m. All the same fun, all the same heroes, but twice the amount of baseball.

Keep your Spider-Sense on high alert, because you never know when bad guys might show up at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The Dark Side has attempted to infiltrate us in the past. Ghostbusters will be at the park, keeping away all evil spirits, phantoms and poltergeists. We need your help to fight evil and cheer your D-Jays to victory!

It will be a night you won't want to miss. You never know when a mild-mannered fan just might be a hero in disguise. There have even been rumors of a Wookiee or two wandering around the clubhouse in previous years.

It will be a great chance to catch your favorite movie stars and also a chance at a FREE movie ticket. Every Saturday home game is a Jays Win/You Win game with Cobb Theatres. If the D-Jays win, you can redeem your game ticket for a free movie at the Countryside location during the 2014 season. With a summer movie season of mutants, apes, turtles, dragons, robots and more, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

This and every Saturday are Junior Jays Saturdays. There will be face painting, balloons, caricatures and more. Kids will also be able to run the bases after the game. For more information on Junior Jays or for general ticket information, visit www.dunedinbluejays.com or call 727-733-9302.
