
Priddy named AA batter of the week

DURHAM, NC - The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has selected Sioux City Explorers INF Ryan Priddy and Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks RHP Alex Caldera as the Pointstreak Batter and Pitcher of the Week.
Priddy batted .545 (6-for-11) this week, with two home runs, five RBI and four runs scored. The native of Loveland, CO now leads the league in batting average and is tied for the lead in home runs.
Caldera held the El Paso Diablos to just three hits over 6.1 IP in a victory last night. The right-hander from El Centro, TX struck out seven in his pitcher-of-the-week performance.
