PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC (9-3-8) will battle the Swope Park Rangers (3-11-6) at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Highmark Stadium for their second showdown this season.
In their first meeting, the teams played to a 2-2 draw at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Tobi Adewole (71st minute) and Anthony Velarde (90'+1 minute) scored for the Hounds whereas Rodney Wallace (83rd minute) and Kelyn Rowe (88th minute) potted tallies for the Rangers.
Pittsburgh has not lost a regular season match at Highmark Stadium since July 21, 2018, when it fell 1-0 to the Charleston Battery. Since this match, the Hounds have a 10-0-9 record in regular season matches at the venue. Furthermore, the club has won seven of its last nine matches heading into the weekend.
On the other hand, Swope Park has lost its last two matches. The club is also searching for its first road win this season (0-7-2 away record).
