Kennewick, WA - Join the Americans tonight at the Toyota Center for a Saturday night rivalry matchup against the Spokane Chiefs.

For Tri-City, Parker Bell has 3 goals and 3 assists. Greenway, Jean Jr., and Sloan each have 2 goals and 3 assists. Both of Jean Jr.'s career goals have been against the Chiefs. Tomas Suchanek's only game in net against Spokane was Tri-City's lone victory against the Chiefs this season.
Both teams come into tonight's game looking to get back into the win column as the Ams have lost their last two and the Chiefs have lost their last three.
Tri-City played last night at home against the Winterhawks, falling 5-3.
Portland opened scoring but the Americans replied two minutes later as Connor Bouchard redirected a shot from Rhett Melnyk to tie the game. Portland added one more goal to take a 2-1 lead into the first intermission and extended their lead to 3-1 early into the second period. 8:34 into the second period while playing four-on-four, Petr Moravec scored on a give-and-go with Marc Lajoie to put the Americans back within one. Tyson Greenway added another second period goal for the Americans to tie the game heading into the final frame. The Americans were unable to carry their momentum into the third period as Portland scored twice more to secure a 5-3 victory.
Tomas Suchanek put on a strong performance in net for the Americans, turning aside 43 of 47 shots faced. Greenway's goal, his eighth of the season, extends his point streak to four games with two goals and four assists over that period.
