PRINCE GEORGE, BC- The Prince George Cougars (17-18-1-1) had their four-game win streak come to an end on Friday, falling to the Kamloops Blazers 5-1 (23-11-1-0) at the CN Centre.
The Cougars were playing shorthanded as they had just eight forwards and 14 skaters in their line up due to injuries and COVID-19 protocols.

Kamloops led 2-0 after 20 minutes and 4-1 through two periods. Luke Toporowski, acquired from the Spokane Chiefs on Monday, had a pair of goals and three points in the win. His linemate, Logan Stankoven, also had a three-point night. They were the first and second stars.
