Pre-Game Yoga Class Wednesday
August 21, 2015 - New York-Penn League (NYPL)
Brooklyn Cyclones News Release
On Wednesday, August 26th the Brooklyn Cyclones will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Sidd Finch - the best that never was. As part of the celebration fans are invited to attend a pre-game yoga introductory class starting at 5:45 PM. Finch was said to have used yoga to achieve a complete union of mind, body and spirit which led to his ability to throw 168 MPH.
The class will last approximately 25 minutes and will be led by Steph Armijo, who has done similar classes with the Mets at Citi Field. Interested participants should bring their own yoga mat and line up near section 21 where a Cyclones representative will escourt them on to the field at 5:45. The class will be done at an introductory level, so even if you've never done yoga before this is a great way to try it out for the first time.
All tickets for the evening's game are just $10, and are on sale now by calling 718--507-TIXX, visiting the MCU Park box office.
