March 19, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Bloomington PrairieThunder News Release

The Bloomington PrairieThunder staked the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs to a 3-0 lead before falling 4-2 on Saturday night at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Bossier-Shreveport's lamp lighters came from veteran Travis Clayton, Justin Atkins, and Andy Contois. Contois' goal at 13:07 of the second period turned out to be the game winner. The PrairieThunder got third period goals from Jason Williams and John Snowden before Steven Crampton scored into an empty net for the Mudbugs to make the final 4-2.

Bloomington peppered Mudbugs goaltender John DeCaro with 51 shots and outshot Bossier-Shreveport (36-25-3) 51-23. Bloomington now stands at 34-20-6 on the year and their loss coupled with Wichita's 5-3 win over Missouri makes things very interesting heading into the final six games of the regular season. The PrairieThunder, with 60 games played, has 74 points. Missouri, with 62 games played, has 74 points, and Wichita with 62 games played, has closed to 72 points. Both Bloomington and Missouri will play on Sunday.
