
PrairieThunder Comeback Falls Short Against Quad City

The Bloomington PrairieThunder's hard fought comeback came up a bit short on Saturday night as the PThunder lost to the Quad City Mallards 3-2 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Bloomington now stands at 6-3-1 on the season while Quad City stands at 7-5-0.
Quad City's Eric Giosa scored the game winner at 10:16 of the third period. The PrairieThunder goals came from Jason Deleurme and Jason Dale. Once again, the PrairieThunder out shot their opponent, this time by a 40 to 25 margin.
The PrairieThunder wrap up their week long home stand, looking to end a two game winless streak, on Sunday afternoon at 3:05pm when they host the Arizona Sundogs for the second time this week. Arizona defeated Bloomington 3-2 in a shootout this past Wednesday evening.
