With a killer promotional line-up and tons of young talent on the field, the rest of 2012 is sure to be just as exciting, if not more, than what we've already seen. POWER REPLAY: WVP @ CSC
West Virginia lost the series opener with the Charleston RiverDogs on Thursday night by a 9-8 final. The Power held a 6-0 lead after three innings thanks in large part to a five-run, three hit, three walk, and three error top of the second. Charleston scored six in the fifth, including four on a grand slam by Angelo Gumbs. With the game tied at seven, the RiverDogs plated a pair in the seventh. West Virginia only managed to get one back in the ninth when Jonathan Schwind was retired on strikes with the tying run at third. Jordan Cooper took the loss for the Power.
