(KANNAPOLIS, N.C.) Zach Johnson drove in five runs with two doubles, and Mike Foltynewicz gave up one run in six innings to get his third straight victory as the Lexington Legends rolled past the Kannapolis Intimidators 7-1 Saturday night in Kannapolis.

The Legends wasted no time against Kannapolis starter Brandon Parrent (0-1). Delino DeShields Jr. walked to lead off the game and went to third on a single to right field by Alex Todd. After Jordan Scott walked to load the bases, Johnson hit a line drive down the line in left field for a double, scoring all three runners.

The Legends added two runs in the second inning on a walk to Tyler Burnett, a double by Drew Muren, a sacrifice fly by DeShields and an RBI single by Todd.

Johnson doubled home two more runs in the fifth following singles by Todd and Scott.

Kannapolis scored its only run in the second inning when Mark Haddow singled with two outs and scored on a double by Keenyn Walker. The Intimidators had two men on with two outs in the fourth, but Muren, the center fielder, made a diving catch on a line drive hit by Michael Johnson to end the inning.
