
Power Play Leads Calgary Hitmen To Victory In Medicine Hat

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen got a career high five points (3g 2a) from Bostjan Golicic (GOAL-a-chitch) en route to an 8-4 victory in Medicine Hat Thursday night.
Keith Seabrook and Brett Sonne also scored twice for the Hitmen while Paul Postma added a single. Brandon Kozun picked up four assists, Carson McMillan three while Kyle Bortis and Joel Broda each had a pair of helpers.
Special teams proved to be a huge factor as the Hitmen went 5-9 on the power play. Medicine Hat was 0-4.
The Hitmen are now 6-0-1-0 in their last seven games. They move three points ahead of the Vancouver Giants for first place in the overall Western Hockey League standings.
Calgary returns to action tonight in Swift Current against Flames prospect John Negrin and the Broncos before hosting the Kootenay Ice on Sunday. Game time is 5:00 p.m. at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
