Brandon, Manitoba - It may still be fifteen months away but the Canadian Hockey League, in conjunction with the Local Organizing Committee of the 2010 MasterCard Memorial Cup are pleased to announce that the official website for the event will go online on Monday afternoon, February 9th.

Hockey fans from coast to coast will soon have rapid access to a wide variety of information related to the most prestigious Championship of the Canadian Hockey League.

Created by the Brandon Organizing Committee in collaboration with the CHL, the website will be packed with information about the MasterCard Memorial Cup, its history and the City of Brandon. As well, it will provide fans the ideal opportunity to keep up with the many activities being planned at the Keystone Centre from May 14th to 23rd, 2010.

One of the most important benefits of the website is that it will provide prospective volunteers with a chance to register online for one of the many subcommittees currently being formed.

The website's various sections will let visitors easily find the information that they are looking for and learn more about the various aspects of the CHL's National Championship, in both official languages. As the planning for this event, which will be coming to Manitoba for the first time in its long and illustrious history, moves forward, more content will be added and improved in certain sections of the website with consistent updates thoughout the tournament live from Brandon.
