Mel Rojas Jr. hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, his first of the year. Jason Townsend pitched the ninth for his sixth save.

MASTER OF ARMS: The Pirates have added Dave Turgeon to the Power coaching staff as the interim pitching coach for the remainder of the season. Johnson has not been with the team for the last few weeks while spending time in North Carolina dealing with a family matter.

ROSTER FLUX: The Pittsburgh Pirates added Colton Cain back to the Power roster earlier today and he will make the start tonight against the BlueClaws. The southpaw is had spent the entire season on the West Virginia roster, but was transferred to the Extended Spring roster after last Saturday's 15 inning game at Lakewood to allow the club to add some extra arms to the bullpen for a few days. To clear a roster spot for Cain, left-hander Justin Ennis was sent to the State College Spike roster. Ennis was added to the Power roster on Sunday, but did not appear in any games.
