(Charleston, WV)- The West Virginia Power bested the Lexington Legends 12-7 on Thursday evening at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in 10 innings. Kawika Emsley-Pai came through with the winning double in the tenth and Edwin Espinal drove in seven runs in the win.

The Legends answered immediately with three of their own in the bottom half of the sixth on a two-run blast from Kenny Diekroeger and a solo home run off the bat of Humberto Arteaga. West Virginia responded in the next frame with a pair on an Edwin Espinal RBI base knock.

In the extra frames, Kawika Emsley-Pai came through in the tenth with a two-RBI double to give West Virginia the win followed by three more insurance runs.
