
Pospisil Recalled to AHL Chicago

Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Tomas Pospisil has been recalled to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League. In three games with the Gladiators, Pospisil was scoreless while posting a +1 rating.
Prior to being assigned to Gwinnett, Pospisil appeared in 11 games this season for the Wolves. The Sumperk, Czech Republic native has notched 2 assists for 2 points and has also collected 2 penalty minutes while with the Wolves this season.
The 6-foot, 185-pound forward was drafted in the fifth round of the 2005 NHL entry draft by the Atlanta Thrashers. Pospisil spent the last two seasons playing in the Ontario Hockey League where he collected 54 points and 68 assists.
Pospisil should be available for the Wolves for their 8 p.m. start on Tuesday as they host the Quad Cities Flames at the Allstate Arena.
The Gladiators continue their fifth anniversary season on Friday, November 30th as they travel to Beaumont, Texas to take on the Texas Wildcatters at the Ford Arena at 8:30 p.m. Catch all the play-by-play action in Friday's game via Accessnorthga.com audio stream channel 3.
Celebrating its 20th Anniversary as the Premier 'AA' Hockey League in 2007-08, the ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in three states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league that has 25 teams in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08. The 25 teams includes the Mississippi (Biloxi) Sea Wolves, who return after missing two seasons in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and the expansion Elmira (N.Y.) Jackals. The ECHL will play 900 games beginning Oct. 18 and concluding Apr. 5.
