Victoria's Gomez Suspended Three Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Victoria left wing Robin Gomez for three games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #178 at Idaho on Nov. 23.

Gomez was assessed a match penalty under Rule 46.4 Elbowing at 17:52 of the third period.

Gomez is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Gomez missed Victoria's game at Idaho on Nov. 24 and will miss games against Phoenix on Nov. 28 and 29.
