Charlotte, N.C. - Playing against the top ranked team in the ECHL, the Checkers were defeated by the Texas Wildcatters, 7-3.

CHECKERS DOWN STINGRAYS, 4-2

Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers walked into the North Charleston Coliseum Wednesday night and skated away with a 4-2 victory thanks to a pair of goals from Kaleb Betts and great goaltending from Matt Zaba.

- Blake Bellefeuille leads the team in points with 13 (4g,9a)

- The Checkers utilized their fifth and sixth different goaltenders of the season on Friday and Saturday night

- Four Checkers games in November have gone to shootouts with the Checkers going 2-2

- Lee Falardeau has a five game point streak going ended on Saturday night

- Rookies, Patrick Bordeleau and Jordan Owens both netted their first goals as Checkers this week. Bordeleau's goal was the first of his professional career.
