Pollock's Multi-Point Effort Not Enough to Get Past Cleveland

Stockton Heat News Release
Cleveland, OH. - The Heat came into the game looking for their second win over the Monsters but it'd be the home team who'd take advantage of a slow Stockton start as the Heat fell 5-3 on Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena. It was a tough start for Stockton as the Monsters jumped on the board with two goals in the first 6:42 of the contest while holding the Heat without a shot until well into the game. However, the Heat scored on their first shot of the night 12:19 into the contest courtesy of Dalton Prout, his first AHL goal since 2012. The Heat followed that up with their second goal on their second shot of the game that came with just under two minutes left in the first to end the first 20-minutes tied up with the Monsters. The Monsters though would pick up the go-ahead goal just a couple of minutes into the second period and add two more in frame. Oliver Kylington would get one back for the Heat in the third but it was too little, too late as the Monsters split the two games in Cleveland by getting revenge on the Heat's win over Cleveland on Wednesday. The Heat return home on Sunday to host the San Diego Gulls at 5:00 p.m. for Diabetes Awareness Night presented by Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, where the first 1,000 fans will receive an Andrew Mangiapane bobblehead. Fans can purchase our In-Shape 4 Pack of tickets starting at just $40, and can also purchase $1 hot dogs, $2 sodas and $3 Rita's Italian Ices at the game.
