Come to the Arena at Harbor Yard for a special evening of hockey with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Connecticut Polar Bears on Tuesday, Dec. 26. The Connecticut Polar Bears will hold Opening Ceremonies for the 22nd Annual Polar Bears Girls' Ice Hockey Tournament, the largest girls' tourney in the world, with the Sound Tigers at 6 p.m., prior to the 7:30 game against the Hershey Bears. Doors open at 5 p.m. Polar Bear teams will be recognized and notable special guest Angela Ruggiero, 1998 U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist hockey standout, will be on hand. Some 250 teams will compete in the annual tournament, which will feature teams from throughout North America. Interviews can be arranged with members of the Polar Bears, as well as with the special guests.
