
Players, Coaches Suspended, Organizations Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Friday that it has suspended Fresno coach Greg Spenrath and Victoria coach Bryan Maxwell as well as players from both Fresno and Victoria as a result of their actions during ECHL Game #660 at Victoria on February 16. The ECHL also announced that it has fined both the Fresno organization and the Victoria organization an undisclosed amount as a result of the actions of their players.
Spenrath is suspended for one game and Maxwell is suspended for three games. Spenrath will miss Fresno's game vs. San Diego (Feb. 18). Maxwell will miss Victoria's games at Idaho (Feb. 18), at Idaho (Feb. 19) and vs. San Diego (Feb. 22).
Fresno right wing Joe Pereira has been suspended for five games and left wing Glen Olson has been suspended for four games. Fresno defenseman Dustin VanBallegooie has been suspended for two games and defenseman Matt O'Dette has been suspended for one game. Pereira will miss Fresno's games vs. San Diego (Feb. 18), vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 20), at Alaska (Feb. 26), at Alaska (Feb. 27) and vs. Bakersfield (Mar. 1). Olson will miss Fresno's games vs. San Diego (Feb. 18), vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 20), at Alaska (Feb. 26) and at Alaska (Feb. 27). VanBallegooie will miss Fresno's games vs. San Diego (Feb. 18) and vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 20). O'Dette will miss Fresno's game at Alaska (Feb. 26).
Victoria defenseman Dale Purinton is suspended for seven games while defensemen Jim Gattolliat and Dennis Mullen are suspended for six games each and defenseman Adam Campbell is suspended for two games. Purinton will miss Victoria's games at Idaho (Feb. 18), at Idaho (Feb. 19), vs. San Diego (Feb. 22), vs. San Diego (Feb. 23), vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 25), vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 26) and vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 28). Gattolliat will miss Victoria's games at Idaho (Feb. 18), at Idaho (Feb. 19), vs. San Diego (Feb. 22), vs. San Diego (Feb. 23), vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 25), and vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 26). Mullen will miss Victoria's games at Idaho (Feb. 18), at Idaho (Feb. 19), vs. San Diego (Feb. 22), vs. San Diego (Feb. 23), vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 25), and vs. Las Vegas (Feb. 26). The two games that Campbell will miss are to be determined at a later date.
