Traverse City, MI - The (16-9) Traverse City Pit Spitters fell in the series finale to the (13-13) Kokomo Jackrabbits to split the four-game set.
Miles Simington got the scoring started in the first with a two out RBI double to right field. Unfortunately for the Pit Spitters it bounced over the wall, holding Tito Flores at third, as that's the only offense Traverse City could muster in the loss.
Kokomo struck for two runs in the fourth and one in the fifth, chasing starter Jacob Marcus (0-2, 2.25). O'Kelly McWilliams IV and Coby Greiner held the Jackrabbits scoreless the rest of the way, but the damage was done.
Mario Camilletti didn't record a single at bat as he walked all four plate appearances. It's the seventh game Camilletti has walked multiple times (out of 11).
Camden Traficante and Miles Simington recorded multiple hits. Simington added two walks to reach base safely in every at bat.

The Pit Spitters will travel to Battle Creek tomorrow to take on the Bombers for three games. The Saturday double header will consist of one game that needs to be resumed from June 9 and one seven inning game. The continued game will start at 5:05 ET followed by the second game.
