Pink Jersey Auction Moved to July 20; Breast Cancer Awareness Night Still Scheduled for June 16

Waterloo, Iowa - The Waterloo Bucks have announced that due to production delays, the pink jerseys that were originally to be worn by players and auctioned off to support The Beyond Pink TEAM on Monday, June 16 will now be worn on Sunday, July 20. However, Breast Cancer Awareness - Pink Out Night is still scheduled for June 16.

The Bucks are encouraging fans to wear pink shirts to Monday's game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness - Pink Out Night. The Bucks have teamed up with the Cedar Valley Breast Care Center, Fober, Arensdorf & Associates, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., and Great Clips for both their June 16 and July 20 games.

In addition to the Breast Cancer Awareness festivities, the June 16 game will be a Buck Night, featuring $1 beer, $1 hot dogs, and $1 popcorn. One dollar admission coupons are available from the Cedar Valley Breast Care Center, Fober, Arensdorf & Associates, Great Clips, and ROCK 108. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game to support the cause.

The July 20 game will now feature the Bucks players wearing special pink game jerseys which will be auctioned off after the game with all proceeds going to The Beyond Pink TEAM. Three dollar admission coupons will be available from the Cedar Valley Breast Care Center, Fober, Arensdorf & Associates, and Great Clips. In addition to the Pink Out festivities, it will be Kids Day, where children ages 17 & under will receive $1 admission with complimentary face painting for kids inside the ballpark.

Fans are able to purchase pink t-shirts at the Riverfront Stadium Souvenir Shop which will allow them free admission into both the June 16 and July 20 game, courtesy of the Cedar Valley Breast Care Center and Fober, Arensdorf & Associates while supplies last. All proceeds of the t-shirt sales will go to The Beyond Pink TEAM.

On June 16, the Bucks host the Thunder Bay Border Cats with gates opening at 5:30 pm and first pitch slated for 6:35 pm. The game is the third game of a four-game homestand for the Bucks.

On July 20, the Bucks host the Mankato MoonDogs with gates opening at 2:30 pm and first pitch slated for 3:35 pm. That game is the final game of a four-game homestand for the Bucks, and the last home game prior to the Northwoods League All-Star break.

The Beyond Pink TEAM is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide breast cancer prevention, education, support, and advocacy for comprehensive, quality care in the Cedar Valley and surrounding communities. Waterloo finishes up a four-game homestand today as they face the Willmar Stingers at 6:35 pm. The Bucks head out for a two-game road trip versus Mankato tomorrow before returning back to the Cedar Valley to begin another four-game homestand starting on Saturday.
