
Wednesday Doubleheader Postponed Due to Unplayable Field Conditions

The originally scheduled doubleheader Wednesday night at historic Simmons Field between the Wisconsin Woodchucks and Kenosha Kingfish has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions. Despite efforts to work on the field, it was deemed unplayable in the best interest of player safety. A date and time for the two games to be completed has not yet been determined.
Tuesday's game was postponed in the top of the fourth inning due to rain. At a later date, the game will pick up at the exact point it left off, with one out and Woodchucks on first and second. The score currently sits at: Wisconsin 5, Kenosha 0.
Tickets from tonight's game are redeemable for any 2014 regular season Kingfish home game based on availability. These tickets can be redeemed at the Kingfish ticket office located at 7817 Sheridan Road in Kenosha. Please contact the Kingfish Ticket Office or visit www.kingfishbaseball.com for further updates.
The Kingfish, now 6-8, are tied for sixth place in the South Division. Tomorrow the team leaves for a six game road trip with the next home game scheduled for Wed, June 18th.
