
Pink in the Rink Features Pink Jerseys, Raffles and Silent Auction

PENSACOLA, FL - The Ice Pilots along with The Santa Rosa Medical Center are holding the first annual Pink in the Rink Night at the Hangar this Saturday, January 19 at 7:05 p.m. The Pilots will take on the in-state rival Florida Everblades and the Ice Pilots players will be wearing pink jerseys during the game. These jerseys will be auctioned off following the game with the net proceeds going to the American Cancer Society to help breast cancer research and prevention.
Also, there will be raffles throughout the evening consisting of a 2007-08 autographed team helmet, three gift baskets courtesy of Country Collections and two gift baskets from the Girl Scouts. The Santa Rosa Medical Center is selling raffles for an Ice Pilots team autographed pink jersey.
In addition, there will be a silent auction featuring a two night stay at the Portofino Island Resort on Pensacola Beach, a two night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn located on Pensacola Beach and an extended stay weekend at the Purple Parrot Resort on Perdido Key. A $600 gift certificate to the Stillwater Medical Spa and an Ice Pilots print by Darlene McAllister will be included in the silent auction.
Tune in to the morning show on WEAR-TV, channel 3 Friday morning, January 18 at 6:15 a.m. as Ice Pilots President Greg Schuh will be discussing Pink in the Rink Night.
Don't miss the hard hitting, exciting action, as the Ice Pilots' next home game is Saturday, January 19 at 7:05 p.m. vs. Florida at the Civic Center. It's Pink in the Rink Night, as the Ice Pilots will be wearing pink jerseys, which will be auctioned off following the game! The net proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
