
Farynuk Recalled To Springfield

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, has announced defenseman Brad Farynuk (FAR-nick) has been recalled from the Thunder to Springfield.
This is Farynuk's fourth recall of the season to Springfield and the Enderby, British Columbia native has played in three games for the Falcons this season not registering a point. In 28 games with the Thunder this season, the Stockton captain has three goals and 12 assists for 15 points and was named to participate in the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game, which will be played at Stockton Arena on Jan. 22-23.
Host of the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game and festivities on Jan. 22 and 23, the Thunder has led the ECHL in attendance for two consecutive seasons and drew 244,085 fans to Stockton Arena in 2006-07.
