Garlock To Replace Imbeault In Stockton

Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Chiefs announced today that forward Ryan Garlock was chosen to represent the Chiefs at the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game in Stockton, California in place of Alexandre Imbeault who is with the Providence Bruins of the AHL.

In his first season in Johnstown, Garlock currently ranks first on the Chiefs in goals, tied for first with Jean Desrochers with 14. Garlock has registered eight assists on the year to run his point total to 22 in 28 games. He also leads the team with two shorthanded goals. Garlock spent three games in the AHL with Binghamton earlier this season where he picked up one assist.

The Chiefs' original all-star representative, Imbeault was leading the Chiefs in points with 27 at the time of his call-up to Providence. The Montreal native has not missed a beat in the AHL, posting two goals and an assist in five games for the league-leading Bruins.

The 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game will be televised live at 10 p.m. ET on the NHL Network. A free online telecast will also be available on the ECHL website via B2 Networks, and XM Radio will carry a live broadcast on its NHL Hockey Play-by-Play station, XM Channel 206.

The Chiefs are back in action Friday night when they travel to Elmira. Saturday, they visit Reading. Both game games at 7:00 p.m.

The Chiefs are back on War Memorial ice on Friday, January 18 when they host the Dayton Bombers at 7:00 p.m. It is guaranteed win night! If the Chiefs lose the game all fans in attendance will receive a voucher to a game to be determined.
