Eshelman went 1-1 against Rochester last season He made his Triple-A debut against the Red Wings about a year ago (May 8, 2017) and tossed eight shutout innings. He allowed four hits and struck out eight in a Pigs 9-0 win.
Littell is coming off a dominant 2017 in which he went 19-1 between two levels and two organizations. The Twins' No. 15 prospect according to MLB Pipeline was a 2017 FSL All-Star with Tampa before a promotion to Double-A Trenton where he went 5-0. He was then dealt to the Twins for Jaime Garcia and went 5-0 with a 2.81 ERA in seven starts with Chattanooga.
LAST GAME: Enyel De Los Santos improved to 3-0 on the season, tossing six scoreless innings and leading the IronPigs to an 11-3 victory over the Rochester Red Wings on Friday at Frontier Field. Danny Ortiz hit a pair of two-run home runs in the victory.
Coming off his record-setting three-home-run performance, Dylan Cozens padded the IronPigs' lead with his IL-high seventh homer of the season in the top of the fourth. Cozens currently has an eight-game hitting streak and is batting .429 with four home runs and eight RBIs.
Recently named the Phillies Minor League Pitcher of the month, De Los Santos continued to stifle IL hitters. Allowing three hits and striking out eight, De Los Santos now leads Pigs starters with three wins and is tied with Ranfi Casimiro for the team lead. He has not allowed a run in 12.1 innings and in five starts has a 1.07 ERA.
