CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union today selected goalkeeper Holden Trent with the 28th overall pick, and forward Stefan Stojanovic with the 57th overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft on Wednesday afternoon.

Trent, 23, racked up 145 saves in 52 appearances (52 starts) at High Point University from 2020 to 2022. In that time, he maintained a 1.00 GAA with 22 shutouts in 52 games. Some notable accolades Trent received as a Panther include TopDrawerSoccer Best XI Second Team, Big South Goalkeeper of the Year, Big South All-Conference First Team, and Big South All-Tournament Team.

Stojanovic, 21, spent the 2022 season with Philadelphia Union II during its MLS NEXT Pro inaugural campaign. The forward made 16 appearances (seven starts) for Head Coach Marlon LeBlanc where he grabbed a goal and two assists in just over 700 minutes of work. Stojanovic's lone goal was a memorable one with a stoppage-time winner via a world class volley lofted in by Nathan Harriel.
