CF MONTRÉAL SELECTS MILO GARVANIAN, OUSMAN JABANG AND NICK CHRISTOFFERSEN IN THE 2023 MLS SUPERDRAFT

MONTREAL - As part of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas, CF Montréal selected on Wednesday night defender Milo Garvanian (University of North Carolina) with the 25th pick of the second round (54th overall), defender Ousman Jabang (Mercer University) with the 17th pick of the third round (75th overall), and goalkeeper Nick Christoffersen (University of Pennsylvania) with the 25th pick of the third round (83rd overall).

Garvanian, a native of New Mexico, played 21 games in 2022, tallying six goals and five assists with the Tar Heels.

Jabang played 18 games and 1,525 minutes in the NCAA in 2022. The defender started all games he featured in for the last two seasons for a total of 36 matches. He had his best season in 2021 with four goals and seven assists.

Christoffersen, who was born in Montreal, was team captain in 2022. He played 18 games for a total of 1,636 minutes, leading the Ivy League with a 0.73 GAA. He played a total of 27 games in three seasons.
