Sporting KC Holds Two Picks in MLS SuperDraft Today

MLS SuperDraft 2023 presented by adidas will begin at 4 p.m. CT today with live updates on MLSsoccer.com's MLS SuperDraft Tracker. The first round of the three-round draft will also be live streamed on MLSsoccer.com and the MLS App, as well as MLS channels on YouTube, Twitter, Twitch and Facebook.

Sporting KC holds a pick in each of the draft's first two rounds with the No. 8 overall (first round) and No. 37 overall (second round) selections. On Monday, Major League Soccer announced thelist of players eligible for selectionin the MLS SuperDraft highlighted by eight players in the 2023 Generation adidas class.

In advance of the MLS SuperDraft, technical staffs from every MLS club attended the adidas MLS College Showcase from Dec. 9-12 in Raleigh, N.C. in conjunction with the 2022 NCAA Men's College Cup. The four-day event showcased 44 of the top collegiate prospects in the nation via a series of training sessions, testing, interviews and match play.
