Philadelphia Union Earn Two Wins, Face Manchester United

CHESTER, Pa. (July 19, 2010) - Philadelphia Union finished last week with two wins, a 1-0 victory against Scotland's Premier League Celtic FC followed by a Major League Soccer 2-1 win against Toronto FC. In the match against Toronto, Michael Orozco Fiscal put the Union ahead with his first MLS goal, but it was Sebastien Le Toux who scored the winning goal out of a penalty kick in the 95th minute. Philadelphia return to action on Wednesday, when they face the English Premier League's Manchester United for the club's second international friendly at 7:30 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. The Union (4-8-2, 14 points) will then have a bye week in MLS, and return to League action on July 31st, when they host the New England Revolution at PPL Park.

Philadelphia is the third stop of Manchester United's five city tour, which includes training sessions in Chicago, and matches against Scottish power Celtic FC (July 16 in Toronto - Manchester United defeated Celtic FC 3-1), Major League Soccer's Kansas City Wizards (July 25 in Kansas City), culminating with the 2010 AT&T MLS All-Star Game at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday, July 28 (8:30 p.m. ET).
