Penguins Saturday, February 26 Game Sold Out

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins game against the Norfolk Admirals on Saturday, February 26 is sold out.

Saturday night's game is the team's annual Salute to the Troops, and features the Penguins wearing specialty patriotic jerseys which will be auctioned off for charity; a puck sale featuring autographed camo pucks to benefit the Tickets for Troops program; military vehicles and displays presented by the Tobyhanna Army Depot; and an Evgeni Malkin bobblehead giveaway for the first 5,000 fans through the doors.

Penguins fans are also encouraged to bring items for the team's care package drive, to benefit Operation Touch of Home, a Monroe County based non-profit agency which sends essential and comfort items to our troops overseas. A complete list of items needed can be found at the Penguins website, www.wbspenguins.com.

Fans wishing to see the first place Penguins play next weekend are encouraged to purchase tickets to the game scheduled for Sunday, February 27 against the Springfield Falcons. That contest starts at 3:05pm.

The Penguins currently lead the entire American Hockey League with a record of 40-15-0-0, and have just 10 regular season home games remaining.
