Canucks Recall Evan Oberg

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose announced today they have recalled defencemen Evan Oberg.

Oberg, 23, has appeared in 34 games so far this season with the Moose. In that span, the native of Forestburg, AB has scored 10 points (6g, 4a) and collected 24 penalty minutes, including a pair of multi-point games on Oct. 8/10 @ Peoria (2g) and Feb. 12/11 vs. San Antonio (1g, 1a). Oberg has played in 104 career games in two seasons with the Moose where he's scored 36 points (9g, 27a) and collected 88 penalty minutes. He also played in a pair of games last season with the Canucks, making his NHL debut on Jan. 9/10 vs. Calgary.
