ALBANY, N.Y. - The Albany Devils have partnered with GE for the first-ever "GE Kids-In-Free Day" at the Times Union Center on Friday, February 18 when the Devils host the Worcester Sharks. All children 12-and-under will receive a free game ticket when accompanied by an adult with a ticket. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans to arrive for the 7 p.m. game will receive a GE-sponsored Albany Devils t-shirt.

"With such an overwhelming presence in the Capital Districts, we wanted to partner with GE and provide something special for the children of the area," said Albany Devils Executive Director Chris Ciceri. "GE's Kids-in-Free program has been a great success at other events, but it has never been done with the region's professional hockey team."

Previous GE Kids-in-Free events have been held at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, at Tri-City Valleycats games, and at NY BUZZ Team Tennis matches.

"GE is pleased to partner with the Albany Devils to provide families with a great night of entertainment through GE's Kids-in-Free program," said GE spokesperson Christine Horne. "GE's Kids-in-Free events were extremely popular last year and we're thrilled to be able to offer yet another opportunity for Capital Region families."

Children will be the focus of the night during breaks in the action, with a wide array of activities targeted to kids.

GE sponsors a wide range of family-focused events across the Capital Region as part of its community sponsorship program in communities in which its employees live and the company does business.
