Hall of Fame Weekend at Scope

NORFOLK, Va. - This weekend, the Norfolk Admirals will begin celebrating Hockey Weekend Across America by welcoming two new members into the Admirals Hall of Fame. Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday night, former Admirals captain Ajay Baines and defenseman Steve Poapst will be inducted into the Admirals Hall of Fame during an on-ice ceremony prior to the start of the game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

On Saturday Feb. 19, 24 players will participate in the Admirals Alumni Game at Norfolk Scope. The rosters for each team are listed below. Before arriving at the arena, a select number of players will make an appearance at Chilled Ponds in Chesapeake from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. After arriving at Scope, the teams will take to the ice for a ten-minute warm-up section beginning at 3:45 p.m. Introductions by former Admirals public address announcer Don Bolger will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the puck drop slated for 4:10 p.m.

The game will consist of three 15-minute straight time periods with a two-minute break between each period. There will be an autograph session starting at 6:00 p.m. in Scope's Meeting Room 4 that will continue until the game between the Admirals and Penguins begins at 7:15 p.m.
