Pensacola Pelicans News Release


The Pensacola Pelicans along with NewsRadio 1620 are pleased to announce they have reached an agreement for the 2009 season. The remainder of the 2009 season will now be broadcast LIVE on NewsRadio 1620.

Fans can tune-in tonight beginning at 6:50 p.m. for the pre-game show prior to the 7:05 p.m. first pitch in Grand Prairie, TX. The Pelicans play tonight and tomorrow in Texas before returning home on Monday, June 8 against the first place Fort Worth Cats at 6:35 p.m.

In addition to all the games being broadcast, the Pelicans also have a coaches show every home Saturday at 1 p.m. that will be aired LIVE from Famous Dave's BBQ located at 4952 Bayou Blvd. The next show date is Saturday, June 20.

Pelicans broadcaster Jeff Knox will be calling all the action this season as the Pelicans make their push for the 2009 play-offs.
