Pensacola Baseball Sells 500th Season Ticket

Following last month's announcement that the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds will move to Pensacola for the 2012 baseball season, Pensacola Baseball has sold its 500th season ticket for the team's inaugural season.
"It is gratifying to see the excitement for Double A baseball in our area. To have sold 500 tickets prior to any sales campaign is remarkable. By the time we get ready for a season ticket campaign we may not have any season tickets left for we do want to hold tickets for groups and walk ups for games," said team owner, Quint Studer.
The team is accepting a non-refundable $100 deposit to secure a 2012 season ticket. Season tickets offer a discount of up to 20% off single game tickets. Additional benefits include the same great seat for all 70 home games, the ability to lock in low 2012 pricing for up to three years, season ticket holder only events and gifts, 10% off merchandise in the team store, inclusion in the "Never Wasted Ticket" program and guaranteed giveaway items on game days. Also, 2012 season ticket holders will receive a free game ticket and transportation to Mobile to see the future Pensacola baseball team play the Mobile BayBears on Friday, May 14, 2011.
The new home of the Reds' Double-A affiliate will be located at Maritime Park, the premier waterfront mixed use development on the Gulf Coast. The team will play the 2011 season in North Carolina before relocating to the new state-of-the-art facility starting in April of 2012. The Pensacola franchise will remain in Minor League Baseball's Southern League.

Pensacola Baseball Team Sets Inaugural Season Ticket Prices
Double-A Affiliate for the Cincinnati Reds to Play in Pensacola in 2012
The Pensacola Baseball team set 2012 inaugural season ticket prices for the Cincinnati Reds' Double-A affiliate. The team is scheduled to play 70 regular-season contests at Maritime Park between April and September.
Fans may place a $100 non-refundable deposit for each season ticket seat reserved, with the deposit going to the final purchase. Season ticket holders will receive a priority number and an invitation to a seat selection day at Maritime Park in early 2012. Fans that place their season ticket deposit by Friday, April 29, 2011 will get a free game ticket and transportation to see Pensacola's future team take on the Mobile BayBears on Friday, May 14, 2011 at Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile, AL.
