
Pelicans Recall E.J. Liddell from Squadron

NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has recalled forward E.J. Liddell from the Birmingham Squadron, the team's NBA G League affiliate.
Liddell, 6-6, 242, who was assigned to Birmingham on November 9, averaged 14.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in three games with the Squadron.
Selected by New Orleans with the 41st overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft out of The Ohio State University, Liddell missed the entire 2022-23 campaign due to a torn ACL in his right knee. Liddell has appeared in three games for the Pelicans this season, averaging 1.3 points and 0.7 rebounds in 3.0 minutes per contest.
