Windy City Bulls Beat Sioux Falls Skyforce, Phillips Notches 29-Point Double-Double

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Sioux Falls Skyforce 141-125 Wednesday night. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls Assignment forward Julian Phillips who had 29 points, 11 rebounds and two assists.

Chicago Bulls Two-Way center Adama Sanogo had 26 points and 14 rebounds, while Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Onuralp Bitim chipped in 16 points and seven rebounds.

Windy City got off to a hot start shooting 52.9 percent from the field for a 44-point first quarter. Despite a 34-point second quarter for the Skyforce, the Bulls held on for a 67-62 lead at the half. Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Adama Sanogo led Windy City with 14 first-half points. Phillips, who had 12 first half points, scored 17 points in the second half to lift the Bulls over the Skyforce.

Sioux Falls was led by Miami Heat Two-Way forward Jamal Cain who had 27 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Miami Heat Two-Way forward Cole Swider poured in 24 points, two rebounds and four assists.

With the win, Windy City improved to 4-2 in the regular season, while Sioux Falls fell to 3-3.

Next up, Windy City will take on the Indiana Mad Ants on Tuesday, November 28 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tuesday's away game is slated to tip-off at 5:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted live on ESPN Plus.
