Pregame Show coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. The game is also available with live streaming video on MiLB.tv (subscription required). Tonight's Pregame Show guest is 2B Daniel Lockhart.

LAST TIME OUT: Trailing 2-0 in the ninth, the Pelicans rallied to tie the game and won it with a walk-off double by DANIEL LOCKHART in the tenth...Mauricio Ramos' two-run homer in the fourth inning off of JEN-HO TSENG provided all of the offense for Wilmington, who shut out the Pelicans until JASON VOSLER blasted a two-run, game-tying home run in the ninth...JOSH CONWAY worked three scoreless innings and allowed just two singles and no walks for the win...Tseng took no decision, going seven frames and surrendering just two runs.

EXTRA, EXTRA, CHEER ALL ABOUT IT: The Pelicans earned their sixth walk-off win of the year last night when DANIEL LOCKHART doubled in TREY MARTIN with one out in the tenth. It was the second walk-off win for the Pelicans over the Blue Rocks this year, and, on both occasions, the Pelicans rallied from down two runs in the ninth inning or later. The club's first walk-off win of the year came on April 10 against Wilmington when the Birds scored three times in the bottom of the tenth to win it 4-3 on a walk-off fielder's choice by VICTOR CARATINI. BILLY MCKINNEY (5/7 vs. SAL) and CARLOS PENLAVER (July 30 vs. POT) both have walk-off home runs for the Pelicans this year. Other walk-off wins include batted balls from JEIMER CANDELARIO (6/20 vs. LYN, single) and CHESNY YOUNG (7/10 vs. CAR, reach on error).

THEY CALL HIM MR. CLUTCH-TASTIC: In some ways, JASON VOSLER was a surprise call-up from South Bend on July 21, posting modest numbers in Low-A, but he has impressed in his short time in the Carolina League with some big-time hits. In just 12 games and 39 at-bats, Vosler has four home runs, three of which have either tied the game or given the Pelicans a lead, and all four have come in the last ten games. His two-run homer last night tied the game in the ninth inning. Of his nine RBI, two have tied the game, two have given the Pelicans a lead, and five have come with two outs.

CONWAY COOL: For a while it seemed as though Pelicans right-handed reliever JOSH CONWAY was unstoppable this season, as his ERA has steadily fallen every month of the 2015 season. After a stretch of 14 1/3 innings without allowing a run (the longest such streak by a Pelicans reliever this year) from June 20-July 27, Conway was tagged for a lone marker on July 31 at Frederick, but he continued his shutout ways last night with a season-high and career-high-tying three scoreless frames, earning his second professional win. His season has been especially impressive because he missed his first two professional campaigns with arm injuries. In his last 11 appearances, Conway has struck out 20 batters and limited walks to just eight.

THE BEST OF MARKEY MARK: The Chicago Cubs announced on Wednesday that Myrtle Beach Pelicans right-hander BRAD MARKEY had been named the Cubs Minor League Pitcher of the Month for the month of July. Markey, 23, made his first pro start on the first of the month for Class-A South Bend before spending the rest of July with the Pelicans after a July 5 promotion. In five outings, including four starts, the former Virginia Tech Hokie was 3-0 with a 1.26 ERA, allowing just four earned runs in 28 2/3 innings of work. He posted an incredible 7-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio, with 21 strikeouts compared to just three walks. On July 26 at home against the Carolina Mudcats, Markey fanned a career-high 10 hitters in seven shutout frames on the way to his third Carolina League win. Markey's 0.70 WHIP in July was the lowest in the Carolina League and all of Class A-Advanced as well as third-lowest in all of the minors. He is the second straight Pelican to win a Cubs' monthly award: MARK ZAGUNIS picked up Player of the Month in June as a member of the Pelicans.

BIRD FOOD: The Pelicans have won eight of ten and 16 of their last 22 games...The Birds have won seven straight home contests, the longest such streak by the club this year...At 64-45, the Pelicans are 19 games over .500, tied for the most over .500 they have been this season (July 31, 62-43)...With Wednesday's extra-innings win, the Pelicans now have the best extra-innings record in the league (8-2)...Now with a record against Wilmington of 5-4, the Pelicans have a winning record against six of the seven other Carolina League teams (4-6 vs. Frederick).

PROSPECT 7-PACK: Seven players on the Pelicans' roster are ranked in the Cubs Top 30 prospects according to MLBPipeline.com's Prospect Watch and six are in Baseball America's Top 30. RHPs PAUL BLACKBURN (No. 24 MLB.com/No. 18 Baseball America), JEREMY NULL (29/NR), DAURY TORREZ (28/30), JEN-HO TSENG (17/11), DUANE UNDERWOOD (5/10), catcher VICTOR CARATINI (23/13), and OF MARK ZAGUNIS (10/15). Baseball America also lauded a handful of Pelicans players with "Best Tools" labels. Caratini is the "Best Defensive Catcher" in the system according to the 2015 Prospect Handbook, CARLOS PENALVER as the "Best Defensive Infielder," Tseng has the "Best Control" and "Best Changeup," Underwood possesses the "Best Fastball," and Zagunis has "Best Strike Zone Discipline." Outfielders BILLY MCKINNEY (3/6), JACOB HANNEMANN (27/17, and BA's "Fastest Baserunner"), 3B JEIMER CANDELARIO (20/24), and JUAN PANIAGUA (top "Sleeper" prospect) were on the roster but have since been promoted. ANDREW ELY, named by BA as the "Best Defensive Player" from the Cubs 2014 draft class, was on the club's Opening Day roster but went down to South Bend. 2B DANIEL LOCKHART was at one point ranked #29 by MLB.com but is no longer.

FUN AT THE YARD: Tonight is Old School Hip Hop Night, featuring an appearance by Biz Markie...It's also a Thirsty Thursday, presented by Celebrations Nitelife, 96.1 WKZQ and WBTW News 13, featuring $1.00 12 oz. Bud & Bud Light drafts and $2.00 16 oz. cans from 6:00-8:00 p.m...Pregame Player Autograph Session (open to all fans)...Postgame Kids 12 & Under Run the Bases courtesy of Sweet Frog...East Coast Pyrotechnics Fireworks Extravaganza!
