Regina, Sask. - The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce the signings of their first and second round picks from the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft: 2006-born forward Jaxsin Vaughan and twin brother Corbin Vaughan, each to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

Jaxsin, a 6-foot, 185 lb. forward, was selected with the 21st pick of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft, while brother Corbin, a 6-foot, 195 lb. defenceman, was chosen with the 30th pick. The Merritt, B.C., natives both currently play at Rink Hockey Academy in Kelowna for the U-18 prep team.

Jaxsin has totalled 14 points (9G-5A) in 15 games this season. His nine goals are tied for the lead on his team. Last season during an abbreviated season due to COVID, the imposing forward scored 13 goals and recorded 18 points in just five games with RHA Kelowna's U-15 program.

Corbin, 15, was selected with the 30th pick in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft. He has recorded six points (2G-4A) in 12 games this season and is coming off a 2020-21 season where he produced 11 points (2G-9A) in five contests for RHA Kelowna's U15 program.

"We are excited to get Jasxin and Corbin signed and officially welcome them to our organization," Pats GM and Head Coach John Paddock said. "We're looking forward to seeing the impact they have in Regina, both immediately and in the future."

Jaxsin will wear #32 and Corbin wear #2, as they will both be in the lineup tonight and will be available to the media following tonight's game against the Edmonton Oil Kings at 7:00 p.m., inside the Brandt Centre.
