The Winnipeg ICE are pleased to announce the signing of forwards Miles Cooper, Hayden Moore and goaltender Noah Stenvig to WHL Standard Player Agreements.
Cooper, 15, from Calgary, Alberta, was selected by the ICE in the third round, 67th overall in the WHL Prospects Draft.
The 5'8", 146 pound forward has 38 points (10 goals and 28 assists) in 18 games this season with the Edge School U16 Prep team and five points (two goals and three assists) in three games with the Edge School U18 Prep team, both in the Canadian Sport School Hockey Leagues.
Moore, 15, from Winnipeg, was selected by the ICE in the fourth round, 85th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
The 5'9", 154 pound forward has 23 points (11 goals and 12 assists) in 23 games this season with the Winnipeg Bruins in the Manitoba AAA U18 Hockey League.
Stenvig, 15, from Campbell River, British Columbia, was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 165th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
The 6'3", 161 pound netminder has appeared in eight games this season with the Delta Hockey Academy U17 Prep team of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League sporting a 7-0-1 record with a 2.11 goals against average and .896 save percentage.
Stenvig has been recalled for tonight's game in Brandon as the ICE open a four game road trip (6:30 on 1290 CFRW). It is the fifth meeting of the season between the ICE and Wheat Kings in the Battle of Manitoba presented by Taylor McCaffery Lawyers.
