Patriots Battling For Playoff Spot
The Somerset Patriots are having an extraordinary season and are battling for a playoff spot with just over three weeks remaining in the 2013 regular season.
The Patriots have an overall record of 75-41 and are approaching the team and the league's all-time best records. Currently the Patriots lead the wild card race by 14.5 games over Lancaster and are just two games behind Sugar Land in the second half standings. The Patriots can make the playoffs as the division leader by passing Sugar Land or if Sugar Land wins the second half, then the Patriots go into the playoffs as a Wild Card.
Never the less, there will be exciting Pennant Race Baseball At TD Bank Ballpark for the remaining games. Don't miss some great family fun and baseball with the Somerset Patriots.

The Somerset Patriots take on the York Revolution at TD Bank Ballpark on Thursday, August 29th at 7:05 pm.
The game features a Post Game FIREWORKS Show presented by
Immaculata High School.

Yunesky Sanchez Returns Patriots standout rejoins the team
The Somerset Patriots welcomed back Yunesky Sanchez last week.
Sanchez left the team in May to play in
the Mexican Leagues for Oaxaca and finished with a .346 batting average,
84 hits, nine doubles, six home runs,
and 43 RBI in 62 games played.
Sanchez was the Atlantic League Player
of the Month for April before signing to play in Mexico.

Penn State and Syracuse open their 2013 football season at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, August 31 at 3:30 PM.
Penn State returns 16 starters and 38 letterwinners for the 2013 season. In his first season as head coach, Bill O'Brien led Penn State to wins in eight of its final 10 games, beating eventual Big Ten champion Wisconsin on Senior Day to finish 8-4 overall and 6-2 in the Big Ten.
Syracuse will ride the momentum of two bowl victories in the last three years and the 2012 BIG EAST co-Championship into the Atlantic Coast Conference. First-year head coach Scott Shafer welcomes back 12 starters, including five on offense and seven on defense, from the 2012 ECAC FBS Team of the Year.
Unused Ticket Exchange Exchange Dates On August 27 & 28
The Somerset Patriots are offering fans with unused tickets or vouchers the opportunity exchange them for select home games this season.
The next Unused Tickets and Vouchers Exchange dates are set for Tuesday, August 27th or Wednesday, August 28th.
Fans that are holding unused tickets from games earlier this season can bring them to the Ticket Office located at TD Bank Ballpark to exchange them for either game against the York Revolution.
Patriots Honor POW/MIA Permanent tribute now part of ballpark The Somerset Patriots unveiled a permanent tribute to POW's and soldiers Missing In Action at TD Bank Ballpark as part of the team's Veterans of America Day on Sunday, August 18th.
The Somerset Patriots are the first professional sports team in New Jersey to dedicate a POW/MIA Chair Of Honor to remember the men and women who served our country and did not return home.
Singles Night On August 28th Meet New Jersey 101.5 FM's Dennis & Judy
The Somerset Patriots have announced that they are hosting Single's Night at TD Bank Ballpark on Wednesday, August 28th when they take on the York Revolution at 7:05 pm.
Tickets are available for $26 per ticket if ordered in advance through the group sales department and includes access to the Singles Night event, ticket to the game, and an all you can eat picnic ticket. The buffet will begin at 6:00 pm and will include hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, potato salad, chips, cookies, and Coca Cola products. A cash bar is also available. All ages are welcome to attend with the age range usually from 28-40.
