Augusta Lynx News Release

The ECHL named Augusta Lynx forward Brian Passmore to the American Conference All-Star Team in place of teammate Nicolas Corbeil.

Hailing from Mississauga, Ontario, Passmore was originally selected in the seventh round, 199th overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. This season the 25-year-old center has scored nine goals and 26 points in 35 games.

Originally acquired in a trade with the Texas Wildcatters last season, the 5-11, 180 lb. Passmore has played 91 games in a Lynx uniform in total, and 179 contests over the course of his pro career. Passmore set career highs in goals (14) and points (29) his rookie season of 2003-04, and is on pace to eclipse that mark this year with the Lynx.

The game will be televised locally on WBEK Channel 16, joined in progress live on Tuesday, January 25th and then replayed in its entirety on Saturday, January 28th starting at 8 pm. WBEK is also available on Comcast Digital Cable 103, and Channel 96 on GForce, Charter, and Knology. The game will also be carried live on OLN.
