Augusta Lynx News Release

A familiar face returns between the pipes for the Lynx this weekend, as the team announced they have claimed goaltender Chad Collins off waivers from the Gwinnett Gladiators.

A popular player during his last stint with the Lynx, the affable netminder went 2-1-0 in four appearances with Augusta last season including a 47-save gem against the Gladiators. He finished with a 2.78 GAA and .930 save percentage with the Lynx, and overall this year has seen action in 11 games, going 4-4-2 with a 3.82 GAA and .863 save percentage.

Collins will join the team this weekend as they embark on a two-game road trip starting Friday night in South Carolina against the Stingrays, followed by a Saturday clash with the Everblades down in Florida. Augusta's next home game will be on February 10th to kick off Margaritaville Weekend against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:35 pm!
